Cadets & Alliance Bout
Founded in 2014, Southside Revolution is the only Open to all Genders Junior Roller Derby league based in Seattle. We additionally have a JRDA Female Division team to play sanctioned games.
TEAMS
We currently have two levels of play: Positional junior team age 8-12 and 2 levels of full contact teams.
SEATTLE HOME TEAMS - Practicing out of Southgate Roller Rink
Cadets - Positional Entry level team (age 8-10)
Resistance - Intro to Full Contact & Positional Advanced team (age 9-12)
Alliance - B-level full contact team. Mostly home games. Some travel to play other B-teams
Rivals - A-level full contact. JRDA Female Division sanctioned play - will travel in the NW for sanctioned game play. Does not play in JRDA Post Season Regional Playoffs.
Rebels - A-level full contact. JRDA Open Division Travels for most games to tournaments. Travels in the NW and US wide for sanctioned game play. Some home games. Attends JRDAs Post Season Regional Playoffs to qualify for JRDA Champs.
PRACTICE & GAMES
Practice days are based on team placement in West Seattle.
1x a week- Cadets
2x a week - Resistance & Alliance
2x a week - Rebels + Rivals
Travel Games - Alliance, Rivals & Rebels
Games starting in December.
A-Level travel games start in January.
SEASON
Our active season runs October thru the end of May.
With our full scope of the season running September 2024 - Aug 2025
